The Viriu Splinter (the Splinter) is an unrecognized breakaway republic of the Halucinth Hegemony that originated on the planet Viriu after the Viriuan worker's revolt of +88.
Flag
The second variation of the Viriuan flag represents the flag divided in half by a red and purple, representing the Halucinth and the Splinter. A white line streaks from the right of the flag to the center, towards the japanese kanji that represents separation. To far left lays a single white star, representing the Halucinth's capital. On the right, lays eight ships, representing the eight major fleets that were used in the virua worker's revolt.
