Whitelisting is a quality control measure in place to make up for Ekrixi's rules-light nature. By becoming whitelisted, you become a Deckhand, which is the role name of a whitelisted user. Whilst our whitelisting is very relaxed, we encourage you to follow the requirements regardless.

Requirements

Good whitelist requirements

The requirements for whitelisting are extremely relaxed. You require at least one of the following to get apply for Ekrixi's whitelist:

  • Voucher from another deckhand, such as the one that invited you personally to Ekrixi
  • Voucher from an administrator from another SS14/SS13 server, you can obtain this by requesting it via their forum or via AHelp
  • Playtime from another SS14/SS13 server, you can get the playtime from an approved server by going into your character menu and pressing the Stats menu in the top right.

Whitelisting is done in waves, or if you joined during a period of inactivity, almost immediately. If you decide to go with the playtime from an approved server entire Space Station 14 window with your playtime stats menu open in the lobby. Preferably, move your playtime statistics to the right, that way the Server Information (player count, round number, server name, etc) can be properly verified.

Applying

Good whitelist application

Applying is sent by sending your CKey (SS14 username) in the #request-whitelist channel, alongside with your requirements. Be sure that you've read the requirements closely.
